At the Four Seasons Hualalai on the Big Island of Hawaii, a distinctive tree captures the essence of the resort's serene environment. More than just a part of the landscape, the tree serves as a living landmark for those seeking moments of reflection, anchoring the quiet beauty of its surroundings.
This tree drew my eye during my artist-in-residency at the Four Seasons Hualalai in December 2023. In the mornings, the stunning tree was more than a compelling subject; it was a challenge to capture its true character. Illuminated by the gentle dawn light, with a faint hint of Haleakala in the distance adding depth, each visit to this tree was an endeavor in mindfulness. These moments are about more than taking photos; they are about creating images that truly represent the essence and atmosphere of the location.
In this photograph, the tree transcends its role as a mere subject; it becomes a living symbol of Hualalai's enduring serenity. Positioned against the sky and sea, with Haleakala's subtle presence afar, the tree stands as a timeless invitation to tranquility and contemplation.

MUSEUM FRAMED STYLE: a 2” deep by 3/8” wide moulding frames the print, with a 1/4” float between the print and the frame.

We work with the top printer and fine art finishers in the country to produce the finished works and impeccable quality is of the utmost importance. With that said, the Dye-Transfer Chrome Print and finishing process is a sensitive one and does require a timeline to produce.
