Burano, the small island in the Venetian lagoon, is known for its brightly colored buildings. The tradition dates back to when fishermen painted their homes bright colors so they could easily spot them when returning from sea. The canals of Burano are like veins running through the heart of the island, connecting the people and the vibrant energy that pulses through the streets.
I used a long exposure to capture the stillness and peacefulness of the water, creating a mirror-like reflection of the vibrant architecture. The tranquil water and the reflection of the stunning buildings evoke a feeling of stillness that is hard to come by in this busy world. Here in Burano, time seems to stand still, allowing one to embrace life's beauty and colors fully.

MUSEUM FRAMED STYLE: a 2” deep by 3/8” wide moulding frames the print, with a 1/4” float between the print and the frame.

We work with the top printer and fine art finishers in the country to produce the finished works and impeccable quality is of the utmost importance. With that said, the Dye-Transfer Chrome Print and finishing process is a sensitive one and does require a timeline to produce.
TURNAROUND TIME: GALLERY FLOAT & FLUSH STYLE pieces take 4-5 weeks and MUSEUM FRAMED STYLE pieces take 5-6 weeks.
